The Whitehouse Denham Terms & Conditions

By confirming a booking with The Whitehouse Denham, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Stay Details

  • Check-in: From 2:00 pm (self check-in via key safe)
  • Check-out: Before 10:00 am
  • Maximum occupancy: 2 guests per suite
  • Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request but are not guaranteed

2. Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before check-in: Full refund of nightly rate
  • Within 30 days of check-in: Non-refundable
  • Booking and payment processing fees may be non-refundable
  • No-shows are treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable

3. Personalised Package Bookings (Accommodation + Tours)

  • Personalised packages are subject to the same cancellation policy as standard accommodation bookings
  • Eco tour experiences are operated separately and are subject to their own terms and conditions, including cancellation policies

Tour Changes & Cancellations

  • If you cancel a tour but retain your accommodation booking:
    • The discounted package rate no longer applies
    • You will either:
      • Receive a partial refund for the tour, or
      • Be charged the difference between the package rate and standard accommodation rate

Tour Operator Cancellations

If a tour is cancelled due to weather or minimum number requirements:

  • We will attempt to reschedule your tour to another date
  • If rescheduling is not possible:
    • An alternative tour may be offered (subject to availability), or
    • A full refund will be issued for the tour component only

4. Boat Parking

Boat and trailer parking in Denham is extremely limited.

  • Guests must contact us prior to booking if bringing a boat
  • Parking is not guaranteed
  • No refunds will be provided if suitable parking is unavailable

5. Children & Safety

The property is designed as a quiet adult retreat and includes features such as balconies and stairs.

  • It may not be suitable for young children
  • Guests travelling with children must contact us prior to booking
  • All stays involving children are at the guest’s own risk

6. House Rules

To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests:

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property
  • No parties or events
  • Quiet hours: 9:00 pm – 8:00 am
  • No pets (a small dog is present onsite)
  • Maximum 2 guests per suite
  • Couches are not to be used as beds (additional cleaning fees may apply)
  • Commercial photography or filming requires prior approval

7. Departure Requirements

We ask guests to leave the property in a tidy condition:

  • Wash and put away dishes
  • Empty fridge and freezer
  • Clean oven if used
  • Dispose of rubbish in external bins
  • Leave used towels in the bathroom

Additional cleaning fees may apply if the property is left in poor condition.


8. Damage & Responsibility

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

  • Costs for repair or replacement will be charged where necessary

9. Security & Liability

  • External security cameras (including doorbell cameras) are in operation for safety
  • No cameras are located inside guest areas
  • Guests stay at their own risk
  • We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings

10. Privacy

We collect and use personal information solely to:

  • Manage your booking
  • Deliver our services

Your information will never be sold or shared, except:

  • Where required for payment processing
  • Where required by law

11. Agreement

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions and accept responsibility for your stay.
